It’s that time again. Phil will be performing as the front man with Billy Hill and the Hillbillies, the comedy bluegrass group that’s been running forever at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon in Disneyland. It happens May 31 and June 1; five shows a day, with start times from 11 am to 5:15 pm. It’s kind of an expensive way to see Phil, but they throw in all these rides and attractions along with your ticket price. Pretty cool.
Phil Ward in Phoenix on Friday, April 17!
April 13th, 2009
Warn your loved ones!
Hey, this gig popped up out of nowhere, like the 1999 St. Louis Rams. If you’re in the Phoenix area next weekend, I hope you’ll join me at what promises to be a nifty intimate venue. If you know people in the area who have a strong enough constitution to withstand the Phil Ward comedy barrage, I’d be much obliged if you’d send ‘em my way.
WHEN: Friday, April 17, 10:30 pm
Music at 8. The talented Brad Colerick and Annie Moscow play at 8:50 and 9:45 respectively. They’re good.
WHERE: Fiddler’s Dream Coffeehouse (serving non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks)
1702 East Glendale, Phoenix, 85020
(Southeast corner of 17th St and Cactus Wren)
HOW MUCH: Three bucks! No way, right? Totally true.

Thanks to all of you who came to see the play FILM at Theatre of NOTE, or tried to but couldn’t get tickets. And to the rest of you for considering it. You guys all rock.
Phil’s in a play!
March 21st, 2009
You heard right. Multi-talented Phil is currently co-starring in a play with the following properties:
- it’s called FILM.
- Phil plays Samuel Beckett. (A noted absurdist. In other words, type casting.)
- it’s based on a true story.
- it’s full of humor, drama, romance, silent movie clips and ukeleles.
- it runs FEB 13 - MAR 21 at Theatre of NOTE in Hollywood.
Click the theater’s link for ticket info, and/or click here for a copy of the flyer. See you there!
Even more Phil on YouTube!
March 21st, 2009
You demanded it (well, maybe not out loud, but I’m sure in your hearts you did), so you’re getting it! Three new Phil videos (two of which are even songs from his upcoming album) are available to view!
And you can still go check out
- Stupid and
- The Hoosegow.
See, you might not realize it, but you need these videos. Because they’ll help quell the rabid anticipation you have for the release of Phil’s new album Do Not Insert In Ear Canal, which is currently in the mastering stage and will be available soon. But not soon enough for you, I bet. It’s not healthy to stay at a fever pitch of expectancy over prolonged periods. Watch the videos, seriously. Think of your blood pressure.
Meanwhile, Stupid is still available in good old-fashioned audio format for purchase and download at iTunes and CDBaby.com.
